Job Summary:
As a Civil
Engineer, you will be responsible for executing and supervising civil
construction activities in compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards
(SAES), project specifications, and HSE regulations. You will coordinate with
the main contractor, project consultants, and Aramco representatives to ensure
quality and timely delivery of assigned scopes.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily civil site activities including
excavation, formwork, rebar installation, concrete pouring, and structural
steel erection.
- Ensure all work complies with Aramco-approved
drawings.
- Prepare and submit method statements, inspection
requests (IRs), and material approval requests (MARs) in coordination with
QA/QC teams.
- Coordinate with Aramco inspectors for RFI inspections
and work approvals.
- Track progress and report site activity against the
project schedule and milestones.
- Review subcontractor/supplier submissions and ensure
compliance with Aramco and project standards.
- Ensure workforce compliance with HSE requirements and
participate in toolbox talks and safety audits.
- Resolve on-site technical issues and coordinate with
consultants and main contractors for solutions.
- Maintain site documentation, including daily reports,
work permits, material deliveries, and inspection logs.
- Support project close-out activities, punch list
resolution, and final acceptance procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related
field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, with
at least 2 years on Aramco projects (preferred).
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, quality
control procedures, and safety standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project.
- Strong communication and coordination skills; able to
work in a fast-paced project environment.
